Fathom’s Centrality Tracker finds that, since 2005, South Asia’s relative ties with China have increased. However, this was largely up to 2014, and since then ties have plateaued; EU relative ties with South Asia have weakened, and by more than their ties with the rest of the world; meanwhile, US relative ties are rising fast, pulling South Asia away from the EU-China axis and into the grey zone of global dependency….
