Brian Davidson

Brian joined Fathom Consulting in 2016, initially as the firm’s US economist. He now leads Fathom’s energy and climate-related research and consultancy work, and in January 2021 he became a Junior Partner. Brian’s responsibilities include building datasets, models and tools, managing large projects and engaging with clients from both the public and private sector, to ensure delivery of world-class products and services. His current focus areas include aviation and the geopolitics of the energy transition.

Prior to Fathom, Brian worked for a decade in financial markets, including economic analysis, financial model development, investment strategy, credit and equity research. His employers included Moody’s and The National Investor. He has also written for the Financial Times. Now London-based, he has worked in Africa, South America and the Middle East. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and holds an MSc Finance from Birkbeck College, University of London.
