Brian Davidson
Head of Climate Economics
Brian Davidson joined Fathom Consulting in 2016, initially as the firm’s US economist. He now leads Fathom’s climate-related research and consultancy work and in January 2021 he became a Junior Partner. He regularly discusses the economics of climate change and climate mitigation efforts with senior stakeholders from various spheres, including government, investors and corporates.
Brian has more than ten years’ experience working in financial markets, including economic analysis, financial model development, investment strategy, credit and equity research. His previous employers include Moody’s and The National Investor and has written for the Financial Times. Now London-based, he has also spent time working in Africa, South America and the Middle East. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and holds an MSc Finance from Birkbeck College, University of London.
